This shot is not the same as the one I posted previously in color. I take multiple shots in different color settings such as Sepia, Black and White and various color settings.
The title for the shot in color that looks like this one is titled Life is Beautiful. Personally, I like how the leaves came out in this picture without the color. Agent Meister on Flickr: Posted a Photo
I am going to start working on doing better with Black and White photography since this is type of photography I want to do. Even if it is only at the amature level. Snap 2 Scrap on Flickr: Posted a Photo
just passed the Capital Building in Topeka, KS. Agent Meister on Flickr: Posted a Photo
I took a shot like this a long time ago, but being the perfectionist that I am, I wasn't satisfied with the shot because there was scaffolding on the Capital Building. When I came back and saw it was gone the day I took this shot, I was excited to get the shot again without the construction. I felt the picture would be better if I desaturated it. I really like the look in this picture. Agent Meister on Flickr: Posted a Photo

This shot came out better than I expected. I thought it was going to be a shot I would delete. When I saw Mr. Lincoln came out better than I thought, I was pleasantly surprised! Agent Meister on Flickr: Posted a Photo
Taken from the south side of the Capital on Jackson Street. I was driving around trying to decide where to shoot and saw this from my car. I knew I had to get this shot! Agent Meister on Flickr: Posted a Photo

It is very hard to find a spot right now to take a decent shot of the Capital and not get some kind of Construction in the shot. Agent Meister on Flickr: Posted a Photo

Initially the picture titled "My Culture" was going to be the last skyline picture I took from this vantage point. But one day at work when I arrived, I saw something about the sky that made me feel the urge to take this picture. When I took it, the picture didn't come out exactly the way I wanted it to but as I began to process it and increase the contrast and saturation and darken the photo up, I realized I had something good and this was the result. I deliberately darkened the bottom out so that the buildings would become completely black, giving the picture a silhouette look to it. It may look to many like some shots that I've done before, but for me, personnally, I really like it and this is a shot that I've always had in my head that I've wanted to do, but never really attempted to take until now. I hope you enjoy this shot. Agent Meister on Flickr: Posted a Photo

I was trying to be all artsy with this picture. I actually kind of like it. Agent Meister on Flickr: Posted a Photo

I was invited to meet some friends to play volleyball, later changed to football and then back to volleyball because it ended up too late to play and we went to Sonic out North to play where there were lights. I didn't know exactly where the field was we were supposed to play at and so I drove around the entire lake, Lake Shawnee, trying to find the spot when I came across this sunset. I felt bad making everyone wait while I got the shot... well not too bad. :D Agent Meister on Flickr: Posted a Photo
This is one of my favorites! For whatever reason, the Geotag states I took this picture in Tecumseh, KS. The shot was taken in Topeka at Lake Shawnee. |
